HVAC Technician

 New Iberia, LA | Full-Time | Pay: $24-28/Hr.

 

We are seeking a Skilled HVAC Technician to install, inspect, and maintain heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems in modular and industrial buildings.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install HVAC units, air handlers, thermostats, coils, heat pumps, and associated components

• Perform preventive maintenance to protect equipment and units

• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure proper operation

• Review production orders and resolve manufacturing issues to prevent delays

• Maintain records and follow all safety regulations

• Cross-train in multiple stages of the manufacturing process as needed

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years HVAC experience

• HVAC or EPA Certification

• Knowledge of tools, materials, and safe HVAC practices

• Ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools

• Ability to repair, install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems

• Basic computer skills

 

Preferred:

• Journeyman HVAC/R License

• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, climbing, and kneeling

• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions
