Job Overview

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Fiberglass / Carbon Fiber Repair Technicians to support production with a boat manufacturing company in the Victoria area. This position is ideal for individuals with experience working with fiberglass. Although the boats are made from carbon fiber, fiberglass experience is highly transferable and preferred.

Responsibilities

Cut and prepare openings in boat structures as required
Perform carbon fiber and composite repairs
Assist with fiberglass-style repairs and structural reinforcement
Sand, grind, and prepare surfaces for repair or finishing
Use hand tools, power tools, and repair materials safely
Follow safety procedures and proper PPE requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist production team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous fiberglass preferred
Experience with sanding, grinding, and repair materials
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
