About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Employment Specialist / Recruiter to join our staffing team. In this role, you will support job seekers in finding suitable employment opportunities while working closely with employers to meet their staffing needs. The ideal candidate will have strong client service skills, recruitment experience, and an interest in business development and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for various job openings.

• Match qualified candidates with client job requirements.

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing employer clients.

• Assist job seekers with resume preparation, interview coaching, and job readiness.

• Identify new business opportunities and support client development activities.

• Conduct outreach to employers to promote staffing services and generate job leads.

• Coordinate interviews and follow up with both clients and candidates.

• Maintain accurate records of candidates, placements, and client communications.

• Ensure excellent customer service for both clients and job seekers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field is an asset.

• Experience in recruitment, staffing, employment services, or HR preferred.

• Sales or business development experience is considered a strong asset.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to build relationships with employers and candidates.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment or CRM systems.
