Welder / Welding Specialist
Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay: $23–$35/hr

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Welding Specialist to join a growing fabrication team in Camarillo. This role involves fabricating and assembling highly corrosion-resistant process equipment for industries such as chemical processing, energy, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication on pressure vessels, piping systems, and heat exchangers.

• Weld corrosion-resistant alloys such as titanium, tantalum, zirconium, and high-nickel alloys.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

• Set up and operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools.

• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications.

• Perform fit-up, layout, and assembly of metal components prior to welding.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of welding or fabrication experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing.

• Experience with TIG, MIG, or other welding processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience welding exotic or reactive metals (titanium, zirconium, etc.).

• Familiarity with ASME codes or pressure-vessel standards.

• Previous experience in heavy fabrication or process equipment manufacturing.
