Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Day Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our client's accounting department. This role involves handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction processing. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate with financial records, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Vendor Payments

• Post payable invoices and purchase orders into the accounting system

• Issue vendor payments and checks

• Submit F&I product payables in a timely manner

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and send accounts receivable statements to customers

• Receive and process checks, ensuring they are posted to the correct accounts and invoices

• Manage deal receivables, rebates, and inventory schedules

Automotive Deal Processing

• Post sales for inventory

• Ensure all required deal paperwork is accurate and properly recorded

• Respond to accounting-related inquiries from sales management as needed

Accounting & Administrative Support

• Perform routine accounting and bookkeeping tasks

• Maintain accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts

• Handle miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office accounting experience preferred

• Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Must be able to pass a drug screening
