Day Porter – Temporary (6 Weeks)

We are seeking a reliable Day Porter for a 6-week temporary assignment supporting a commercial property in the NE/SE Portland area. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the property.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Empty trash, replace liners, and clean container areas

• Pick up litter and debris around buildings, landscaping, and parking areas

• Sweep dumpster enclosures and break down cardboard for recycling

• Dust exterior surfaces such as directories, mailboxes, windowsills, and ledges

• Remove cobwebs and maintain general property cleanliness

• Blow sidewalks and walkways free of debris

• Assist with minor cleanup such as spills, debris, or light pressure washing

• Inspect common areas and report issues such as damage, illegal dumping, or safety concerns

• Remove unauthorized signage or graffiti

• Perform basic vacancy inspections (checking for leaks, damage, running water, etc.)

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and stay organized

• Comfortable working outdoors and walking the property throughout the day

• Ability to lift, bend, and perform light physical labor

• Reliable attendance and attention to detail
