Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm | Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm

Position Overview
A growing excavating company in Texarkana, TX is seeking a reliable and organized Equipment Coordinator to oversee the tracking, maintenance coordination, and overall management of company equipment and related systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment is properly maintained, fueled, and ready for jobsite use while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to keep operations running efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Track and maintain records for all company equipment and machinery

• Monitor fuel systems and usage for company equipment

• Track consumables and ensure necessary supplies are stocked

• Coordinate preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and equipment servicing

• Create and manage work orders related to equipment maintenance and repairs

• Maintain detailed digital records of equipment status, maintenance schedules, and inventory

• Communicate with outside vendors including equipment dealerships and rental companies

• Assist with scheduling equipment repairs and maintenance as needed

• Coordinate equipment availability for jobsite needs

• Perform general administrative or operational support duties related to equipment management

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required

• Strong computer skills required for tracking equipment, creating work orders, and maintaining records

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams

• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment or construction equipment preferred

• Ability to multitask and manage equipment schedules in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
