Vending Route Driver – Express Employment Professionals

Schedule - Monday - Friday 

Pay - $18 - $20/hr

 

Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Vending Route Driver to service vending machines on an assigned route. This position is responsible for stocking products, collecting cash, cleaning machines, and ensuring vending machines are operating properly. The driver will represent the client company at each location and help maintain excellent customer service and route efficiency.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Route Execution

• Complete the assigned vending route on schedule each day

• Follow the established service schedule and stop order

• Communicate any delays, route issues, or changes to Express or the client company

Product Stocking & Rotation

• Stock vending machines to proper inventory levels

• Rotate products to maintain freshness

• Remove expired, damaged, or unsellable items

• Maintain a clean and organized product display inside machines

Cash Handling

• Collect cash and coins from vending machines securely

• Reconcile collections with machine readings when required

• Protect company assets including keys, cash bags, and handheld devices

Machine Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Clean machine fronts, glass, and surrounding areas

• Clear product jams and perform basic troubleshooting

• Report mechanical or service issues that require maintenance

Documentation & Reporting

• Take clear, time-stamped photos at each service location if required

• Document inventory levels, machine condition, and any issues

• Submit route and service updates through company systems

Vehicle Care & Safety

• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle

• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices

• Report any vehicle concerns or maintenance needs promptly

Customer Service

• Interact professionally with customers and building staff

• Maintain a professional appearance while representing the company

• Address customer concerns or report them to management

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability preferred

• Dependable with a strong customer service attitude

• Independent, route-based work environment

• Combination of indoor and outdoor service locations

• Frequent lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shift
