Salary: up to $27.00/HR

Hours: 

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00am - 2:00pm

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am

Pay: up to $27.00/HR, based on experience

Duties:

  • Perform mechanical assembly of emergency vehicle components including structural parts, lighting systems, bumpers, brackets, and mounted equipment.

  • Install and route wiring, electrical components, and lighting systems according to assembly drawings and specifications.

  • Assemble and mount mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and calibrated torque equipment.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate installation and proper alignment of components.

  • Assist with integration of electrical and mechanical systems throughout the vehicle build process.

  • Verify that all installed parts meet company quality, safety, and performance standards.

  • Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, function, and overall build quality.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety procedures.

  • Collaborate with team members across production to support efficient workflow and on‑time build completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in high‑level mechanical or electrical assembly, automotive, equipment build, or related technical roles.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical work instructions.

  • Proficiency using common hand tools, power tools, and torque tools.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with assembly work.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced production environment.

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with vehicle upfitting, heavy equipment assembly, or emergency vehicle manufacturing.

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, or 12V components.

  • Prior experience working with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.
