Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Floor Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, repair, and maintain various types of flooring, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install flooring materials according to specifications and blueprints.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors as needed.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Communicate with clients or supervisors regarding project progress and issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in flooring installation preferred.
Ability to read and interpret measurements, plans, and instructions.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
