8:00am - 5:00pm pm / Monday- Friday

An office furniture manufacturer specializing in ergonomic seating solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant (Bilingual in English and Mandarin) to support purchasing operations, vendor communications, and customer service responsibilities while strictly following established protocols and procedures. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth procurement processes, accurate documentation, and strong communication between suppliers, customers, and internal departments. This is a long-term opportunity through Express Employment Professionals, an award-winning Staffing Firm for this long term position. 

Bilingual Mandarin Purchasing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers, primarily in Mandarin
• Assist with purchase order processing and inventory coordination
• Support procurement activities and collaborate with internal teams
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Follow up on orders and delivery schedules
• Provide customer service support as needed
• Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
• Assist with general administrative and office tasks

Bilingual Mandarin Purchasing Assistant Requirements:

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English (reading, writing, and speaking required)
• Customer service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Excel for data entry and tracking
• Comfortable performing basic calculations
• Previous office or administrative experience preferred
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and quick learner
