Sales Support Representative Summary
A growing company in the identification products and equipment industry is seeking a Sales Support Representative to assist their inside sales team. This position will focus on following up on warm inbound leads, making outbound calls, and helping move sales opportunities forward by setting appointments and gathering information from potential customers. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys talking with people, asking questions, and maintaining steady sales activity in a team-oriented environment.

Sales Support Representative Responsibilities

• Management of inbound and warm lead follow-up from sources such as web inquiries, email engagement, and customer retention efforts.
• Completion of outbound calls to engage prospective customers, qualify opportunities, and schedule appointments for the sales team.
• Documentation of conversations and sales activity within the company CRM system.
• Coordination with internal sales staff to ensure leads are routed and followed up appropriately.
• Participation in conversations with prospective customers to identify needs, answer initial questions, and move opportunities through the early stages of the sales process.
• Collaboration with the sales team to maintain consistent communication and activity across inbound opportunities.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday – Friday, approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm
• $22-$25/HR
• Project expected to last 3-6 months with potential for longer-term opportunities

Sales Support Representative Qualifications

• Experience with outbound calling, appointment setting, or lead follow-up
• Comfortable making phone calls and engaging in conversations with prospective customers
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Customer service, call center, or inside sales experience preferred
• Ability to stay organized and maintain consistent activity levels throughout the day
• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
