We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wiring, electrical panels, lighting systems, outlets, and troubleshooting electrical issues while ensuring all work complies with local and national electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers in residential homes

• Install and upgrade electrical panels and service equipment

• Run conduit, pull wire, and connect electrical components

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in homes

• Perform electrical work for remodels, new construction, and service calls

• Install ceiling fans, lighting systems, smoke detectors, and appliances

• Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment

• Communicate effectively with contractors, homeowners, and project managers

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential electrical experience preferred

• Knowledge of residential electrical systems and wiring methods

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

• Familiarity with NEC codes and safety regulations

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods

Preferred Certifications

• Electrical Apprentice Card, Journeyman License, or equivalent experience

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred but not required)
