Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a MATERIAL HANDLER FORKLIFT OPERATOR for an logistics company in the city of Gardena, CA.

Schedule: 6AM to 2:30PM, Monday through Friday + possible overtime (when and if needed)
Pay: $20.50 an hour

Skills

• Valid certification REQUIRED (expired certs will NOT be accepted)
• 2 years forklift operator (sit down AND stand up) experience REQUIRED
• Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures
• Light data entry skills required
• Fluent English required (Spanish is a plus)
• Must have basic math skills
• Good attendance habits

Job Responsibilities:

• Load picked orders or pull & load according to policies and procedures
• Unload, move, stack and stage customer products and materials both by hand and using forklift or other power equipment
• Complete activity and statistical reports as assigned by supervisor
• Assist in physical inventory counts
• Other warehouse tasks as needed (ADAPTABILITY IS KEY)
