Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC plasma cutting machines to produce metal parts per blueprints and CAD drawings
• Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure accuracy
• Safely load/unload materials using cranes, hoists, or forklifts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine machine maintenance and replace consumables
• Collaborate with fabrication and welding teams to meet production goals
• Report material shortages or equipment issues to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Support continuous improvement efforts in quality and efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of CNC plasma cutting experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and part drawings
• Basic understanding of metal types and machine programming
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, and metal dust
• Requires standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials up to 50 lbs
