Location: Kansas City, KS
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hr, paid weekly

A well-established distribution company in Kansas City is looking to add a Commodities Wire Cutter to their warehouse team. This role focuses on cutting wire to customer specifications while also assisting with picking pipe, wire, and conduit for customer orders. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with long-term stability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cut wire to customer specifications accurately and efficiently

• Pick and prepare pipe, wire, and conduit for customer orders

• Receive and unload incoming materials from delivery trucks

• Operate a forklift to move and store inventory throughout the warehouse

• Prepare materials for delivery by palletizing, banding, labeling, and staging product

• Load and secure materials for customer deliveries and transfers to other branches

• Maintain accurate inventory and report any discrepancies

• Assist with warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred

• Forklift experience or ability to operate lift equipment

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and participate in team lifts when needed

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods

• Basic computer skills; RF scanner or inventory system experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Must comply with company tobacco-free workforce policy
