Machinist Requirements

Must be able to work in a safely and productive manner.
Ability to know how to read internal and external micrometers, dial calipers and other precision tools associated with the position.
Know how to operate
- Milling Machine
- Lathe Machine
- Shaper Machine
- Surface Grinder Machine
- Drill Press
- Able to cut material with Hydraulic Hack Saw.
Ability to cut keyways with hydraulic press
Must be able to read basic blueprints and take precision measurements.
Must be able to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa in both standard and metric measurements.
Good attitude and attendance
Minimum 5 yrs. Experience with all the above requirements.
