Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, business (S-Corp, C-Corp, LLC, Partnership), and trust tax returns

• Provide tax planning strategies and strategic guidance to clients

• Assist clients with IRS correspondence and audit support

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Stay current on federal and state tax law changes

• Utilize accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Drake, and related systems

• Manage multiple client accounts and meet filing deadlines

• Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and in person

• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality client service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA or EA certification preferred (or actively working toward certification)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and planning

• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes

• Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Ability to work both independently and within a small team
