Job Title: Onsite Recruiter
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

 

 

 

Job Summary:

The Onsite Recruiter is responsible for supporting all recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations functions at a client’s location. This role ensures that staffing needs are met by maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and providing excellent service to both associates and the client. The Onsite Recruiter serves as the primary contact for employees regarding scheduling, attendance, and job assignments.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, screen, and interview candidates to meet client workforce requirements.
• Manage onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
• Maintain accurate records of employee information, attendance, and assignments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client management and employees.
• Conduct daily check-ins, attendance tracking, and provide updates to the client on workforce status.
• Handle employee inquiries, performance feedback, and disciplinary issues as needed.
• Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure candidate flow aligns with client needs.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and client policies.
• Assist in coordinating employee recognition programs and retention efforts.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 1–2 years of recruiting, HR, or staffing experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to spend long periods walking or standing at the client site.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
