HVAC & Plumbing Technician

Location: [East Hanover, NJ]
Job Type: Full-Time- 7AM - 5PM
Pay: $20- $40 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC & Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and plumbing components in residential and/or commercial settings. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water lines, drains, fixtures, and piping
• Troubleshoot leaks, clogs, and pipe malfunctions
• Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication with clients

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing experience preferred
• EPA Certification (for HVAC work) preferred but not required
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and plumbing systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
