Utility Laborer

Located in Ben Wheeler, TX

Salary: $15.53/Hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Utility Laborer to join a local company in the Ben Wheeler, TX area.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Responsibilities: 

• Stage materials and move parts to support machinists and daily production flow
• Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and scrap using approved equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas (chip removal, coolant upkeep, housekeeping)
• Assist with tooling management, inventory control, and basic machine setup support
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring, cleaning, and visual inspections
• Ensure materials and tools are prepared for efficient, same-day production when possible
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards, equipment issues, or quality concerns
• Support continuous improvement by identifying workflow inefficiencies
• Complete other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Familiarity with CNC and/or manual machining operations
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and grow
