Job Title: Accounting Clerk

  • Location: Ocala, FL
  • Pay Rate: $20–$22+ per hour (Based on Experience)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations for a growing organization in Ocala. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional looking for long-term growth and expanded responsibilities. Training will be provided on internal systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter financial transactions in a timely manner

  • Support and manage intercompany systems and processes

  • Prepare and process intercompany billing

  • Perform account reconciliations, including credit card reconciliations

  • Assist with entry-level Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

  • Maintain organized filing systems, including scanning and document management

  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial records

  • Learn and operate internal accounting systems (currently using Titan)

  • Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

  • Experience with QuickBooks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly (Titan experience a plus but not required)

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
