Position: Inventory & Parts Manager

Location: Texarkana, TX

Hours: Full time, M-F, some overtime when needed

Pay: $15-20/hour, DOE

Position Summary:

Inventory & Parts Manager manages inventory, ensures accurate product pricing, and maintains a clean and organized shop environment. This role is essential for ensuring that our products are always available and accurately priced, and that our shop remains an inviting place for customers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Ensures all products are out on shelves if there is room

? Ensures that all shelves are clean and dust-free

? Ensures that prices are displayed on all products

? Communicates with the Counter Sales Supervisor to ask for assistance with organization and cleanliness of shelves, and ensuring prices are displayed

? Coordinates all purchasing

? Manages purchase orders and inventory for the shop

? Receives all parts that come in for the shop into the system on the day they arrive

? Receives all new rental items into the system to prepare them for rent

? Matches packing slips to receiver to invoice

? Runs a report of items that need to be ordered first thing in the morning and walk the floor to verify inventory needs

? Monitors and updates prices for items that have been in stock for an extended period to ensure pricing accuracy

? Follows up with vendors on back ordered items

? Files all documentation to facilitate an efficient A/P process

? Runs quarterly reports to analyze product movement

? Monitors and documents price changes to ensure competitive pricing

? Upholds company safety standards and ensure appropriate procedures are followed

? Performs other duties as requested

 

Job Requirements:

? A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required

? Minimum 2 years experience in receiving, inventory control, and purchasing

? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

? Experience in inventory management or a related field

? Proficiency in using inventory management software

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team

? Excellent communication and customer service skills
