Job Title: Receiving Operator

 

Position Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Operator to support a seed processing facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product integrity and quality of seed received at the plant. The ideal candidate will be dependable, quality-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

 

Essential Job Duties:

• Unload trucks according to the receiving schedule

• Perform quality checks on each truckload, including verifying hilum purity, moisture content, contaminants, and mechanical damage

• Properly label receiving bins and maintain accurate records for each variety

• Thoroughly clean production equipment between varieties to prevent contamination

• Ensure product integrity by avoiding variety mixtures in receiving bins

• Assist Conditioning Staff in the conditioning tower as needed

• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area

Schedule & Overtime:

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Seasonal overtime may be required depending on production demands and bin locations

Employment Type:

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail

• Must pass a 7 year background check

• Ability to follow quality control procedures

• Ability to lift, bend, and work in a production environment

• Previous agricultural or production experience preferred but not required
