Temporary Eligibility & Program Support Associate
Location: Hendersonville, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (hour lunch)
Pay: $18/hour
Type: Full-time, Temporary (3+ months) (eval hire)

A well-established medical office in Hendersonville is looking for a detail-oriented and computer-savvy associate to assist with patient eligibility and financial assistance programs. This role is primarily administrative and data-focused, with some light patient interaction. Ideal for someone who is comfortable navigating websites, uploading documents, and working in Excel on a daily basis.

This is a temporary position with an immediate start, expected to last at least 3 months, with the possibility to extend depending on workload.

What You’ll Do:

• Accurately input and manage patient data across multiple systems

• Navigate websites to submit and track financial assistance applications
• Upload, organize, and maintain digital files
• Use Excel to track and update program status and documentation
• Complete patient eligibility and financial forms from start to finish
• Communicate with patients as needed for additional information or follow-up
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in all tasks

What You Bring:

• Strong comfort level using computers and working with data

• Proficiency in Excel (filtering, basic formulas, and spreadsheet management)
• Ability to work in a repetitive, detail-heavy environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
• Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative setting is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check
