Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20–$22/hour

Express employment is recruiting a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician for a 6-month assignment. This is a great opportunity for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in quality work and safety.

Requirements:

• Valid Oregon Driver’s License (ODL)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Must provide personal hand tools (company supplies diagnostic tools)
• Basic computer skills for fleet tracking and email

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles to determine condition and identify worn or damaged parts
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (fluid changes, lubrication, safety inspections)
• Conduct wheel and tire repairs (mounting, dismounting, flat repair, balancing)
• Provide emergency roadside service and assist with vehicle recovery
• Maintain accurate vehicle service records and track downtime
• Perform final operational testing to ensure quality repairs
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely
• Safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and other machinery as needed
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using sound judgment and critical thinking
