CONTROLLER

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established local company to find an experienced Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations. This is a key leadership role for a detail-oriented and strategic accounting professional who enjoys working closely with company leadership to support sound business decisions and long-term growth.

Salary range is $75k - $90k per year, based on proven experience. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in accounting or finance leadership (Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar role)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management
• CPA credentials strongly preferred
• Experience working with external auditors and year-end processes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Supervise and support accounting and finance staff
• Manage daily accounting transactions and overall financial operations
• Develop strategic financial plans and prepare the annual budget
• Prepare and review financial statements and internal reports
• Coordinate external auditor activity, including fiscal year-end
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to company leadership
• Monitor financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Manage daily cash flow and cash positioning
