Position Summary
The company is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will lead a skilled maintenance team responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems that support daily production. You will oversee shift operations, allocate resources, ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards, and drive equipment reliability across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant maintenance environment by following company policies, standards, and legal regulations.
- Supervise maintenance employees—including selecting, training, assigning work, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Clearly communicate job expectations and provide continuous direction, support, and accountability.
- Ensure maintenance requirements are met by properly orienting and instructing employees.
- Support productivity and quality goals by meeting defined maintenance standards and resolving equipment issues promptly.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving improvements.
- Oversee shift operations by reviewing prior-shift reports, allocating resources, and ensuring activity continuity.
- Monitor maintenance services throughout the shift and reassign resources as needed to meet operational demands.
- Accurately complete logs, reports, forms, and maintenance documentation.
- Support broader organizational goals by assisting with new or evolving requests and helping others accomplish results.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong background in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Ability to work across multiple shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
