Senior Analyst, Enterprise Analytics

Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst serves as Product Owner for Enterprise Analytics and BI solutions, partnering with business leaders and IT to deliver data-driven products that support Republic Services operations. This role operates within an Agile/Scrum framework to ensure high-quality, value-driven analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.

• Serve as Product Owner, managing the product backlog and translating business needs into user stories.

• Lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-Ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, Release Planning).

• Oversee the full analytics product lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Drive product adoption through training materials, user guides, and communications.

• Analyze data to support product strategy, validate BI outputs, and fulfill ad hoc requests.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Product Ownership.

• Proven ability to manage product backlogs and deliver across the SDLC.

• Technical understanding to collaborate effectively with Data Engineering and BI teams.

• Experience leading or supporting large-scale technology initiatives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of Agile/Scrum experience, including Product Ownership.

• 1+ year of experience in waste hauling operations or related support role.
