Job Title: Wiring Technician (2-3 month contract)
Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience
Schedule: M-F 6a-2:30p

Position Summary

The Wiring Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components, control panels, and equipment according to schematics and blueprints. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and safe handling of electrical tools and materials in a production or shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
• Assemble and wire control panels, harnesses, and electrical components
• Route, terminate, and label wires according to specifications
• Install connectors, relays, switches, and circuit boards
• Perform continuity testing and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Use hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and multimeters
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Document completed work and report any defects or issues

Required Qualifications

• Previous electrical assembly or wiring experience preferred
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics and diagrams
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic electrical knowledge (voltage, current, resistance)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
