Position Summary
RCAP Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven HomeBase Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing and processing HomeBase applications in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with RCAP Solutions and EOHLC (Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities) requirements.
The HomeBase Specialist works closely with Emergency Assistance (EA) Shelter Case Managers and external partners to ensure proper documentation, payment processing, and compliance with funder deadlines. This position plays a critical role in supporting housing stabilization efforts and ensuring clients receive services efficiently and respectfully.
Key Responsibilities

Review, process, and manage HomeBase applications in accordance with program guidelines and funder timelines.

Collaborate with EA Shelter Case Managers to collect required documentation for:

Provide direct case management related to assigned application processing.

Maintain accurate program data and complete required reporting for RCAP Solutions and EOHLC.

Ensure payment processing accuracy and adherence to EOHLC goals and deadlines.

Communicate directly with agencies and representatives to provide guidance and status updates.

Develop partnerships with internal and external service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Refer clients to the HomeBase Case Manager as needed for housing program information and additional services.

Handle confidential documents and communications with integrity.

Maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services case management and/or housing stabilization programs.

Experience handling confidential documentation and sensitive information.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole) preferred.
Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management systems.

Strong data entry accuracy and reporting skills.
