We are seeking an experienced Material Handling & Shipping Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience pulling and packing orders for major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and Amazon, along with cherry picker (order picker) experience and strong computer/data entry skills. This role is responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and shipping customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pull, pick, and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare shipments for carriers including UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and other freight providers
Operate a cherry picker/order picker lift to retrieve materials from elevated racking
Perform shipping and receiving duties, including labeling and verifying shipments
Enter order and shipping information into warehouse management systems
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
Inspect products for quality and accuracy prior to shipment
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Previous experience pulling and packing orders for UPS, FedEx, Amazon, or similar carriers required
Experience operating a cherry picker/order picker lift required
Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and warehouse systems
Ability to read and interpret packing slips, shipping labels, and order documentation
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily shipping deadlines
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting
Standing, bending, lifting, and operating equipment throughout shift
Use of personal protective equipment as required
