📍 Location: Waco, TX
💲 Pay: $14–$18/hour (DOE)
🕒 Schedule: Full-time | Day shift (overtime may be required)
🔄 Position Type: Evaluation Hire (Temp-to-Perm)

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support production at a local steel fabrication facility. This role involves operating steel fabrication machinery and ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Candidates with welding or steel fabrication experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Operate steel fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
Monitor machine performance and production output
Load and position materials for processing
Inspect finished materials for quality and accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Assist with general shop duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Machine operation experience preferred
✔ Welding or steel fabrication experience a plus
✔ Ability to read measurements and use basic tools
✔ Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
✔ Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent lifting of materials
Ability to work in a steel fabrication shop environment
Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment
