Job Title: Business Development Manager – Industrial & Technical Markets Reports To: Senior Director of Sales & MarketingPay: $85k - $95k PLUS Commission and Bonuses
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Expand business with new and existing customers through proactive account and market development.
Develop and implement sales and marketing plans, strategies, and recommendations for products and markets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships and account strategies based on understanding business operations and product applications.
Manage pricing, quotations, contracts, and negotiations.
Utilize both traditional and digital methods to communicate effectively and identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with staff, vendors, and clients to ensure a positive, results-driven team approach.
Track and report progress, issues, and opportunities to management.
Ensure compliance with all quality and industry certification standards.
Travel as required to client sites, trade shows, and suppliers.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical or industrial background highly desired.
Minimum of 5 years of industrial sales or marketing experience in an industrial environment.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience in aerospace, defense, power generation, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or medical markets is a plus.
Must be able to type and sit for extended periods.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Periodic travel required.
Safety glasses required when on the shop floor.
