Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Houseman to support our housekeeping team and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our resort. This role involves prepping and maintaining unit spaces and amenities, stocking supplies, and assisting with light maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Area Maintenance

    • Prep, clean, and maintain unit spaces and amenities such as patios, patio furniture, and BBQ areas.
    • Ensure all public and guest areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

  • Housekeeping Support

    • Stock housekeeper totes/carts with appropriate supplies.
    • Deliver supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as directed by management.
    • Assist with moving housekeeping carts and replenishing linens and amenities.

  • Light Maintenance

    • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
    • Report any major maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

  • Safety & Cleanliness

    • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with company policy.
    • Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and housekeeping workspaces.

  • Team Collaboration

    • Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff and management.
    • Support team efforts to ensure timely room turnovers and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs frequently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
