Truss Delivery Driver CDL A | $28/hr

Location: Lewiston / Clarkston Valley Area
Pay: $28/hour to start 
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10-hour shifts | Full Time (Busy season is starting and there is plenty of OT available!) 

 

Local work and home every night! 

 

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver for a local truss manufacturing company. This position focuses on delivering roof and floor trusses to new construction sites, operating delivery equipment, and supporting warehouse operations when needed.

This is an experienced driving role--- not entry level. Drivers must be confident delivering wide loads and maneuvering in tight job sites.

 

What we're looking for: 

• Class A CDL (log truck experience strongly preferred)
• Experience delivering in construction environments
• Skilled at maneuvering in tight job sites, driveways, and rural terrain
• Comfortable communicating with contractors and crews onsite
• Experience with wide load delivery and challenging terrain
• Strong trucking and delivery background required

 

Job Duties

• Load, transport, and deliver trusses to new construction sites
• Safely maneuver trucks in tight spaces and mountain terrain
• Unload materials at job sites
• Operate forklift in the shop as needed
• Assist with warehouse work when deliveries are slow
• Follow safety and secure load procedures

 

Equipment Used

• Roll-off trailers
• 2-Ton 5500 trucks
• Chevy 4WD 6500
• Gooseneck trailers
• Freightliner (limited use)
• Wide loads up to 14 feet

 

Work Environment

• New construction sites in valleys, ridges, and mountainous terrain
• Tight job site navigation required
• Fast-paced busy season with consistent hours
• Brand new facility 
• Excellent small team atmosphere

 

Ideal Candidate

• Former log truck or heavy haul drivers
• Strong backing and tight maneuvering skills
• Construction delivery experience
• Safety-focused and reliable
