About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of building systems. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems in a fast-paced facility environment.

Job Duties

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct potential issues
  • Repair or replace lighting, plumbing fixtures, door hardware, drywall, and perform basic painting
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS), fire alarms, and security systems
  • Document maintenance tasks and service calls in a CMMS system
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs (HVAC, elevators, major systems)
  • Respond to facility emergencies including power outages, leaks, or alarm events
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.
  • Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural issues rapidly.
  • Certifications: Often require HVAC certifications, electrician licenses, or relevant vocational training.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in varied environments
