Position Overview:
A clinic located in NW Oklahoma City is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Medical Billing / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is a fully on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for a candidate with strong insurance claims and medical billing experience. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing accounts receivable, submitting claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims

• Manage accounts receivable and resolve outstanding balances

• Post payments and reconcile accounts

• Investigate and appeal denied or rejected claims

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility

• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies

 

Qualifications:

• Previous medical billing and accounts receivable experience required

• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processing and follow-up

• Experience with medical billing systems such as eClinicalWorks (eClinical), Veridiam, Epic, or similar software required

• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
