Full Job Description

We are hiring Roofers for a modular home manufacturer in Cuero, TX. This position works in a structured indoor production environment building residential homes year-round — no weather delays or rain-outs.

This role is trainable for the right candidate. We are seeking a semi-experienced “hand” who understands basic roofing principles and can confidently read a measuring tape. Candidates must be comfortable working on rooftops and able to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced production setting.

Essential Functions

• Install and lay roofing shingles
• Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials accurately
• Assist with hopper and roof assembly operations
• Follow basic roofing layout and alignment standards
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Maintain safety and production standards

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read and use a measuring tape accurately (required)
• Basic understanding of roofing logistics and installation principles
• Comfortable working at heights
• Good agility and balance
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Construction or roofing experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working on rooftops
• No fear of heights
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift

Preferred:
• Prior roofing or modular construction experience
• Production-based work background

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work safely at heights
