Licensed Health Insurance Agent
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (with occasional extended hours during peak seasons)
Pay: $18–$25 per hour DOE
About the Role
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a local client for a Licensed Health Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for someone passionate about advocating for seniors and helping clients confidently navigate healthcare coverage options.
The position begins with front-office and client support responsibilities and transitions into a full Client Advocate role upon licensure (if not already licensed). This is a long-term career opportunity with growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on health insurance plans and guide them through coverage options
- Advocate for senior clients with professionalism and empathy
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and via email
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Assist with administrative and office support duties
- Participate in community networking and outreach events
- Support clients efficiently during busy enrollment seasons
Qualifications
- Active Montana Health Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior office experience required
- Experience in medical front/back office, pharmacy technician roles, or senior services preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to handle testing environments and stressful situations effectively
- Willingness to work occasional extended hours during peak seasons
