Overview:  A local electrical assembly company is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to support and maintain internal IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is reliable, solutions-driven, and can multi-task effectively in a collaborative team environment. JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Administer and maintain Linux-based servers
• Configure and manage Apache web servers and Postfix mail servers
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Python-based tools and scripts
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases
• Monitor system performance, security, and backups
• Provide technical support to internal staff
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support operational needs
• Assist with system upgrades and IT-related projects

Requirements:

• Strong Linux server administration experience
• Experience with Apache and Postfix configuration and management
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong working knowledge of MySQL
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with PHP
• Knowledge of C/C++

Pay: $20-$50/hour DOE

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
