Duties for the Mechanical Assembler are:

• Position, align and fasten components using tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, or welding equipment.
• Inspect finished products, parts, and subassemblies to ensure they meet specifications and identify defects
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to guide assembly.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform preventative maintenance on tools.
• Record production data, such as quantities produced and inspection results.

Requirements for the Mechanical Assembler include:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy components (often 50+ lbs).
• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic skill in using hand tools and power tools.
• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Coordination: Strong hand-eye coordination.
