About the Company

We have partnered with a local company specializing in custom draperies and window treatments—including shades, blinds, and motorized systems. They also provide full upholstery services for furniture, custom banquettes, wall installations, and custom‑made furniture pieces.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to join a skilled production team. Prior sewing experience is required, and experience working in a drapery workroom is preferred. Upholstery skills are a plus but not required. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, creative, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and table draperies according to specifications
• Table and assemble Roman shades
• Perform hand sewing and finishing work
• Assist in general workroom tasks as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and accuracy
• Stand for long periods and lift light materials as necessary
• Provide leadership support if capable

Qualifications

• Sewing experience required
• Prior experience in a drapery workroom preferred
• Upholstery experience is beneficial
• Ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to lift light items and materials
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Leadership capability is a plus
