Job Description: Certified Paralegal (Temporary – 6 Months)

Position: Certified Paralegal (Temporary Assignment)
Location: Downtown Amarillo, TX (In-Office)
Duration: Approximately 6 months
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Mon-Friday 8am-5pm
Start: Immediate

Pay: $24-39/hr.

 

Position Overview

A downtown Amarillo office is seeking a Certified Paralegal to provide temporary support to a legal team consisting of two attorneys. This is an in-office role ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is available for immediate placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct paralegal support to two attorneys
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents and correspondence
• Assist with case management, filings, and document preparation
• Conduct legal research as needed
• Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic)
• Coordinate deadlines, calendars, and court-related documents
• Communicate professionally with clients, regulatory entities, third party vendors, and consultants.

Qualifications

• Certified Paralegal (required)
• Previous law office or legal support experience required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with legal documentation and office software
