Salary: $60-$70k
Notice Management: Track and research state tax notices and information requests, partnering with the SALT team to ensure timely resolution.
Agency Correspondence: Draft responses to resolve discrepancies and address state tax inquiries on behalf of clients.
Documentation & Organization: Maintain electronic tax binders and case files with accurate, accessible records.
Compliance Support: Assist with audit support, financial data gathering, and maintenance of state compliance trackers.
Reporting: Provide status updates on notice resolutions and identify trends or recurring issues for the SALT team.
Client Support: Serve as a secondary contact for internal teams regarding notice updates.
Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to tracking systems and workflows.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Experience in professional services or a tax/administrative environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software a plus.
