What You’ll Do

·         Provide management, leadership and direction for the accounting staff

·         Develop, document and implement standard operating procedures

·         Lead the day-to-day accounting functions

·         Maintain completeness and accuracy of the general ledger

·         Perform the quarterly close processes including the review of entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

·         Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts consistent with GAAP

·         Prepare financial schedules for audits, reviews and tax filings

·         Responsible for identification and implementation of efficiency and productivity improvement opportunities

·         Covers responsibilities of the other assistant controllers as needed.

What You Bring

·         B.A. or B.S. in business, finance or accounting

·         CPA preferred

·         10+ years of experience

·         Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and internal controls

·         Experience with the financial closing process and financial statement preparation

·         Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and organizational skills

·         Advanced Excel skills

·         Great Plains experience a plus
