Job Title: Yard Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The Yard Worker is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the yard area while assisting with loading, unloading, and moving materials. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, products, or equipment safely and efficiently

• Organize and maintain yard inventory and storage areas

• Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or pallet jacks (if certified)

• Assist customers or drivers with locating and loading materials

• Maintain cleanliness of yard, including sweeping, debris removal, and waste disposal

• Inspect materials for damage and report shortages or issues

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Perform basic maintenance tasks as assigned

• Support other team members and supervisors as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous yard, warehouse, landscaping, or construction experience preferred

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout shift

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Basic understanding of safety procedures

• Forklift certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
