Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Yard Laborer for a locally owned custom sawmill in Eagle Point. This long-term opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning new skills in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in operating sawmill equipment and machinery
2. Stack and sort lumber by size and type
3. Load and unload materials
4. Perform general yard and shop cleanup to maintain a safe, organized workspace
5. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
6. Support the team with various manual labor tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Previous labor or sawmill experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Steel-toe boots required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Position is day shift Monday-Friday with some possible OT on Saturdays.
