Salary: $27-$32/hour

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a metal fabrication company in the Brampton area. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3+ years of experience in automotive or metal stamping.

Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30PM

Pay Rate: $27-$32 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Details:

• Responsible for ensuring all machinery and equipment are in good working order
• Checks and maintains all machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Responsible for general maintenance as required
• Provides routine maintenance and support
• General maintenance around the facility including the furnace filters, lighting, etc
• Implements corrective action and process improvements when and where appropriate
• Cross train in production.
• Housekeeping duties as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, always adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

• Electrical or Mechanical certificate or Licensed Millwright is an asset
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with a verifiable reference
• Hydraulic, pneumatic and metal stamping experience is an asset
• Ability to work with limited supervision and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
• Great with your hands and the ability to work with small tools.
• Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read electrical schematics.
• Counterbalance forklift license is required.
