Our client in Independence, IA is looking for a Janitor!

Position Summary: A leading manufacturing facility in Independence is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean and safe working environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and can work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Mop floors and clean/sanitize restrooms
• Vacuum carpets and dust office areas
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Wipe down walls and surfaces as needed
• Operate a ride-on floor scrubber to clean large shop floors
• Follow cleaning checklists and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Comfortable working in a large industrial/shop setting
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 6am – 2:30pm

Pay:

• $17.50/hour
